1. Log into your Bravenet account 
2. Make sure you are on the Dashboard 
3. Click on "Contact Forms" in your list of Web Tools 
4. Click "Auto-responder" 
5. Enter the Email Subject and Email Body for the automatic reply you want to be sent

The Form Builder in your Contact Form manager will allow you to build a complete working form that you can simply copy/paste into your webpage. 
 
Once you have published the page containing your form, visitors will complete the online form and click on the Submit button. 
 
With the free service they will be presented with an interstitial page for them to confirm that they are not sending sensitive information through the Contact Form service. 
 
After the user has confirmed the information on the interstitial page, the information is sent to the email address you have in your account information. 
 
The visitor is taken to your thank you page following the form submission. 
 
All the processing is done through Bravenet's servers. 
 
Note that the information is not saved to a server and therefore cannot be retrieved at a later date.

Contact Forms submit their data by email, and by default the recipient used is the same as your Bravenet Profile email address. However, it is possible for you to set a different recipient email for individual Contact Forms, so that when any data is submitted to that form it will be emailed to an alternative recipient address instead.

The problem could be that your email program is automatically formatting the message. 
 
If you are using Outlook, please open your email and click on the "Extra Line Breaks were Removed" link, and then click "Restore Line Breaks" 
 
To save the setting, go to Tools-> Options-> and on the Preferences tab click on "Email Options", and uncheck "Remove extra line breaks in plain text messages"

Bravenet has implemented credit card detection schemes within our e-mail form service. 
 
What this means is when a credit card number is passed through a form, it will display a message in the sent email saying that credit card information is not allowed. 
 
The reason we are doing this is to help prevent credit card fraud from happening.

Unfortunately the Contact Forms messages are not stored on Bravenet servers, and we have no way to retrieve any submissions which did not make it to your email. 
 
In case of a temporary problem contacting your email address, we suggest setting up carbon copies to an alternate email with a different email provider.
